Description
Job Description: lans/manages technical programs or projects to meet specific objectives or goals. Provides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program. Works on problems/tasks in delivery of a specific product or service. Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and ask for specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule. Assess risk and identify issues. Monitor progress against schedule. Coordinate resources with other functions. Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity. Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work. Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Qualifications
- Electrical engineering or similar - Fluency in English due to working in multi-cultural teams internally and externally. - 10+ years experience in the semiconductor industry with broad R&D experience in different departments - Extensive people and project management experience, management of large and complex projects. - Experience in managing large (key) projects, ability to facilitate and lead interdisciplinary & international teams - Experience working abroad and sensitivity in understanding how to handle cultural differences / strengths. - Generalist in multiple areas: Combines development, technical marketing and business, knows to drive performance of product line / product group - Semiconductor experience in product development, Deep knowledge of product development processes
