3. Responsible for protocol/algorithms design, analysis, simulation in wireless communication.
4. Contribution to patent, standardization and paper.
Candidate Requirement:
1. Ph.D in radio/wireless communication or related area.
2. Solid theoretical experience and good publication record in the areas of wireless communication systems, wireless communication theory, signal processing , wireless networking, automatic control, computer science, image processing, microwave and antenna, electronic engineering.
3. Knowledge about 3GPP LTE/LTE-A or other industrial standard on wireless is a plus.
4. Professional system simulation by using Matlab, C/C++, OPNET, NS2.
5. Work experience in prototype building for wireless system is a plus.
6. Excellent verbal, writing, presentation and communication skills in English.
Bell Labs Research Scientist —Fixed Access
Job Description:
1. Research and innovation in next generation access networks or related area.
2. Responsible for pre-study of fixed access, fixed-mobile convergence, Optical access, network virtualization and cloud computing.
3. Theoretical analysis and prototype design.
4. Contribution to patents, standardization and papers.
Candidate Requirement:
1. Ph.D in communication, computer science or related areas.
2. Familiar with access networks (both fixed access or fixed/mobile convergence, e.g. DSL, PON, WiFi, 3GPP, LTE etc.), and related protocols.
3. 2 years of research experience in Optical transmission/access, network virtualization, cloud computing or FMC.
4. Experience in prototype building and system simulation is a plus.
5. Familiar with C/C++, Matlab, OPNET/NS2.
6. Excellent verbal, writing, presentation and communication skills in English.
7. High responsibility, dedication and team spirit.
