Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Sales team working in China to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness; • Organizing Marketing and Sales events and coordinate all details to ensure the event runs smoothly, logistical organisation of local and global events and co-ordination across China and Asia Teams and the UK as required for issues such as travel and accommodation requirements ; • Ensure regular and proactive communication with overseas offices and the network of sales consultants to ensure that the sales and marketing plan is implemented globally and that internal communication is consistently effective throughout the sales organisation; • Support the sales team on maintenance of agent records and regional diary as appropriate, in line with company procedures and in liaison with relevant colleagues; • Assist the sales team with logistics, travel and accommodation arrangements; • General support to the sales team; • Other duties as required to ensure efficient and effective running of the sales department.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting an international sales organisation, preferably working with sales staff across multiple overseas locations and will demonstrate the following core attributes:
• Exceptional administrative skills and attention to detail • Excellent English (written and spoken) and Chinese (written and spoken) • Educated to degree standard • Strong advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite, including Excel and Outlook • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of dealing directly with internal and external customers on the phone and in person • Articulate and confident manner • Good team player • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to take the initiative • Flexible approach to working, excellent time management • A friendly professional manner and appearance • Calm and clear-minded under pressure
