Responsibilities:
- Becomes deeply knowledgeable about the University and the laws and other factors that would impact recruitment of students.
- Keeps abreast with market developments.
- Comports oneself in a way that reflects the mission and values of the institution, and is ethical.
- As directed, supports and expands Customer’s agent network in China, including:
a. selecting professional agencies and managing contract process, b. providing training to new agents, c. liaising with existing agents on a regular basis, d. attending agent fairs. - Assists (potential) applicants and their families.
- Conducts presentations at high schools, colleges, fairs, conferences and other venues about Customer.
- Assists with the implementation of the University’s promotional activities, including seeking out suitable new opportunities to develop “the Customer brand”.
- Participates in social media, building profile via appropriate social media channels as directed.
- Initiates and assists in the development of promotional materials for the Chinese market. Translation of documents will be required. Writes newsletters, correspondence and other materials as required.
- Accompany Customer personnel on official visits.
- Completes a monthly report on activities.
- Tracks travel expenses and diligently reports those expenses on a monthly basis via an Excel tracker.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above, majoring in management or marketing, 3 years or more working experience in managing marketing channels/projects/ or recruitment. (experience in the Australian’s division of an educational agency is preferred but not necessary)
- Be smart, ambitious and strategic.
- Detail orientated, strong planning and time management skills, outgoing personality.
- Strong communication skills, proficient in spoken and written English.
- Travel within China is a requirement.
