JOB DESCRIPTION
Overall Job Description:
Overall responsibility of this position is to assist the head of clinical research to conduct
the clinical studies. The position will be attached to the Head of Early Clinical Research.
An important part of the job will be done with teams based in France.
Job Responsibilities:
- Based on the study design given by the Head, the clinical researcher will write
and edit of the clinical protocols and related documents (crf, submission file,).
- He will monitor on site the clinical studies s in various CROs and Universities in
China.
- Follow-up and organization of the logistical aspect and technical support of of
the studies.
- Follow-up of Data treatment (biological and physical analysis..), and data
management
- Descriptive statistics of the data with figures and draft summary
- Communication/Interaction with skin research laboratories within L’Oreal in
France and China.
- Available for travels, both within China (at least 1/month) and 1 to 2 travels to
France/year.
- Writing draft of results
Education and Experience requirements:
- Clinical Research with a Masters Degree in a related field (Biology,
Biochemistry, Pharmacology etc) with at least 1 – 3 years of experience in
human clinical trials, as well as safety and efficacy testing of cosmetic or
dermatologic products.
- Knowledge of methods, equipment and technology used in the clinical research
fields for skin and hair will be a plus.
- Working Knowledge of clinical trial regulation, descriptive statistics, and quality
assurance is a plus.
- Excellent communication (verbal, written). Strong interpersonal and intercultural
skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Working language will be Mandarin and English. A good level in
understanding/speaking/writing English is required
- French language is a plus
- Working knowledge of methods of evaluation (clinical and/or instrumental) for
evaluating product efficacy on skin is a plus.
