Job Description

Supply Chain Inbound Program Manager will be member of Supply Chain Inbound team. He/She will be the leader and program manager of cross-functional projects and initiatives involving Supply Chain team, Trans team, FCs and Retails to support exponential business growth at Amazon China, streamline inbound pipeline and uphold the highest standard of Amazon inbound operation. In addition, this program manager needs to work with multiple global development teams and local Trans and FCs to build up end-to-end system solution which will allow us to scale up and maintain high-level inbound performance while we optimize overall operation cost.

 

This position will be responsible for:

- Lead project with aim to build highly efficient, cost effective, transparent and reliable inbound pipeline and process to support exponential growth of business and inbound volume.

- Engage with senior executives and a diverse audience including internal stakeholders like fulfillment center, transportation, retail and etc to define vendor management strategy and plan.

- Support FC operation and standard work across FCs by providing training and establishing standard operation process.

- Participate in designing inbound process and work with global software team to drive software solution and deployment.

- Lead Kaizen for process & vendor operation improvement and deliver P&L analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in business, engineering, computer science, economics, finance or other quantitative discipline

- Candidates must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills, and a strong customer focus

- Strong verbal and written English and Chinese

- Strong communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with external business partners and internal teams to meet operational performance goals

- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to detail, and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of fulfillment center operation/transportation industry, experience in 3PL is a plus.

- Background or good understanding of e-commerce logistics is a plus
