Job Description
- Lead capacity planning activities including capacity forecast, capacity expansion, capacity monitoring, and inventory balance to meet capacity constraint
- Develop models and tools that are used in capacity planning activities
- Participate in long-term network topology and capacity planning for China
- Coordinate with Retail, Fulfillment, and Engineering, to address needs or issues related to storage and processing capacity
- Work closely with Sales and Operations team and Inventory Management team to balance inventory flow in and out of each fulfillment center to meet customer demand under capacity constraint
- Manage metrics related to Storage and Processing Capacity and support management team in metrics execution.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills, and a strong customer focus
- Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functional within China organization and across locales
- Candidate must have basic Supply Chain and Operations Research knowledge through work experience or coursework
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal and written English and Chinese
- 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, process engineering, business analysis, inventory planning, production planning or financial planning
- Candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, management science, or business administration. Master’s degree or MBA is strongly desired.
