Legal Director
Responsibility:
l As the group legal director to support and manage all legal related activities in China and coordinate with overseas.
l Acting as group legal head to support and manage legal related activities, covering all fund investment in China, outbound MA deals, cross boarded operation.
l Leading legal team to help on all internal legal related needs from different funds within the group, including but not limited to compliance, government policies, general corporate, housekeeping and all other legal affairs.
l Conducting legal DD and other support on investment deals, managing outsourced outside law firms and coordinating closely with fund managers.
l Independently working on deals on contract, negotiation, structuring and risk control with support from legal team and outside lawyers.
l Leading and supporting fund setting up and formation. Helping and involving in portfolio company legal issues.
l Communicating efficiently both with China and Western sides.
Qualifications Required Abilities
l Top tier universities education background both in China and overseas.
l PRC Bar and Foreign Bar is a plus.
l Solid experience in international law firm, top tier domestic law firm or a recognized investment institute, with record of successful deals on PE/VC, IPO
l Experience in successful IPO deal in overseas is a plus.
l Experience in China outbound MA activities, especially working with SOE side is definitely a strong advantage.
l Understand PRC investment environment, overseas working experience is a plus.
l Hands on; experience in leading a team and multiple tasks are essential.
l Open minded and willing to/ able to adapt in different environment.
l Understand Western and Chinese culture, can behave as a bridge.
l Passionate on PE/VC and flexibility to travel frequently and work under pressure.
l Very good communication skills both in English and Chinese.
